Job Summary
An information technology company that offers data server hosting and colocation services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Ruby Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, build, test, and release new features and experiments in Ruby on Rails and Javascript
- Develop, improve and simplify the code that makes up our API and other applications that support them
- Work with your peers to build new features and extend existing ones, using modern, performant technologies
Qualifications Include:
- Experience with Ruby and Javascript
- Experience writing automated tests (Jest and RSpec)
- Knowledge in REST
- Knowledge in HTTP, cookies, caching, AJAX, cross-domain sharing, etc.
- English-native or English proficiency is mandatory. No exceptions
- Previous work scaling enterprise software and infrastructure
