Job Summary
A technical training company is in need of a Telecommute Satellite Communications Engineer and Instructional Designer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Creating interactive online learning materials for the satellite and wireless industries
- Building and enhancingengineering-based simulation code to power interactive animated tutorials
- Planning, structuring, and managing the development of entire self-paced online learning courses
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel to meet frequently with mentor/manager in Alexandria, VA and travel occasionally to meet with client organizations and to represent the company at conferences and meetings
- Experience tutoring math or physics to high school or college students
- Courses or experience in OOP
- Strong graphics, illustration, or drawing skills
- Experience in or interest in learning Instructional Design techniques
- BSEE (MSEE preferred) with a concentration in wireless communications, including courses in mathematics, communications theory, electromagnetics, signals and systems, and random processes
