Job Summary
A for-profit, online learning institution that is composed of American Military University and American Public University needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute School of Security and Global Studies Faculty Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Manage oversight of between 200-300 faculty (part-time and perhaps full-time) members
- Coach/mentor and evaluate instructor performance
- Research, evaluate, and prepare recommendations on instructional methods and materials
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Masters degree in a field related to security studies from a regionally accredited institution is required
- Three or more years of college-level teaching experience
- Ability to be objective in evaluations and in making recommendations relevant to improving teaching techniques
