Job Summary

A nonprofit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Science and Industry Affairs Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Leading science and technology-related member committees and task forces
• Supporting policy development, membership recruitment and collaborations
• Assisting in the analysis and preparation of sector data reports and other publications

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel an estimated 25-30% of the time (domestic and international)
• A life sciences Ph.D. (preferred) or Master of Science degree
• 5- 10 years professional work experience
• 3 or more years’ experience in Business Development, Consulting or Technology Transfer
• Knowledge of companies and academic centers active in cell and gene therapy
• Enthusiasm for bringing exciting new treatments and cures to patients
