Job Summary
A health, science and research publication company is in need of a Telecommute Science Writer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with editors to make sure articles are complete and ready for online publication
- Reworking or rewriting an article at the request of assigning editors, copy editors, or other editors
- Searching for relevant and authoritative sources needed to complete an assignment
Skills and Requirements Include:
- PhD in life or natural science disciplines (cell biology, neurology, biochemistry, etc)
- Or, master’s degree may be considered with 3+ years of professional medical writing experience
- Skilled in writing news articles off of clinical trials and published science studies
- Excellent communication (written and oral English) and time-management skills
- Ability to produce accurate and detailed content on deadline and strong organizational and analytical skills
- Driven to learn new skills or technologies, or upgrade existing skills, relevant to a health (medical) writer
