A business and technology consulting firm has a current position open for a Telecommute Scientific Data Visualizations R Shiny Developer in McLean.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Building web screens to capture/update/analyze complex electrophysiological data
  • Building complex analysis features to process data, and generate visualizations
  • Building software compliant with corporate IT standards

Qualifications for this position include:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field
  • Advanced experience with R programming and building complex, modular, interactive applications in the R/Shiny framework
  • Web development experience: UI & UX, and web API services (JSON, REST)
  • Front-end coding: JavaScript frameworks React-Redux (strongly preferred) or Angular, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, HTML5 & CSS3
  • SQL Server database
  • Azure DevOps (Git/TFS), or Atlassian stack
