Job Summary
A professional society is in need of a Telecommute Scientific Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing leadership, direct management and development to direct report(s)
- Assisting in developing, managing and meeting budgets
- Leading the acquisition of grants and implement as outlined
Skills and Requirements Include:
- PhD in chemistry, biology, biotechnology, engineering or related field
- 10 years project management experience with multiple departments, locations, and/or skill levels
- Minimum five years direct personnel management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to use office technology tools such as Microsoft Office, Dropbox, WebEx, Skype, GoToMeeting, etc
- Strong staff management and development skills
