Job Summary
A financial services company is in need of a Telecommute Search Engine Optimization Director in New York City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting keyword and competitive research, optimize website for SEO to increase rankings, inbound links, and organic traffic
- Developing a roadmap to execute the proposed strategy with clear milestones, identify constraints, and pinpoint dependencies
- Forecasting the impact of the SEO strategy, expected revenue, and payback period
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 6 - 9+ years of in-house or agency experience
- Previously built or led an SEO operation from inception to large scale
- Previously owned user acquisition numbers from SEO in a product-led company
- Have experience creating user journeys and matching the current SEO strategy with it
- Have experience working closely with engineers to execute technical SEO tasks
- Have experience working with content operations - scaling number of writers, editors, and managing editors
