Job Summary
An online school system is filling a position for a Telecommute Secondary Math Substitute Teacher.
Must be able to:
- Complete all grading, create report cards and conduct parent conferences in a timely and manner
- Support the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions
- Communicate regularly with parents, students, and curriculum specialists
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Valid Secondary Math teacher certification in Michigan
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Must own a computer with high speed Internet access
- Must be available during regular business hours as well as occasional evening hours
