Job Summary
An online education company has a current position open for a Telecommute Secondary Math Teacher.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Complete all grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences
- Support the instructional program with web conferencing sessions and instruction
- Devise alternate approaches to presenting lessons to increase student understanding
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events
- Qualified and certified to teach Math in Washington (appropriate to grade level and content area responsibilities)
- Special consideration to any candidates with endorsements for ELL, Gifted, and/or Physical Education/Health
- Experience with Professional Learning Communities
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
