Job Summary
An educational provider is seeking a Telecommute Secondary Science Substitute Teacher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Completing all grading, generating progress reports, and conducting parent conferences
- Communicating with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis
- Supporting students and parents with alternate instructional strategies and providing assistance
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Science in Oregon
- Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Understanding of IEP/504 plans and how they can be implemented in a virtual setting
- All other requirements necessary for this position
