Job Summary
An online education company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Secondary Science Teacher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Grading, creating progress reports and conducting parent conferences
- Providing asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction
- Reviewing curriculum and devising alternate approaches to presenting lessons
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel for marketing, state testing, & field trips; may require overnight travel
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Science in Texas
- Must hold or being willing to immediately obtain TxVSN Certification
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
