Job Summary

An IT company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Security Assessment Analyst in Reston.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Translating NIST guidelines to assist clients meet FISMA / FedRAMP requirements
• Assisting the team with conducting quick-turn assessments
• Preparing written and verbal deliverables to both internal stakeholders and clients

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel up to 25%
• A Bachelor's degree in IT or other business management field
• Expertise in the applicable NIST publications including 800-37 Rev 1, 800-53 Rev 3 or 4 and FIPS 199
• Previous experience testing technical controls
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You'll be explaining very technical matters to non-technical individuals
• You have an active US clearance, or are able to obtain one, therefore US citizenship is mandatory
