Job Summary
A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Building, installing, configuring, and testing dedicated hardware and software solutions
- Managing system/server resources including performance, capacity, availability, etcc
- Monitoring and maintaining system/server configuration
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to monitor measures or indicators of system performance and availability
- Ability to script or code OS/application-level automation tasks
- Ability to perform basic data/log parsing
- Ability to work with open-source orchestration software (Kubernetes)
- Skill in conducting system/server planning, management, and maintenance
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, etc
