Job Summary

A material handling and facilities equipment service provider has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Accountant in Toledo.

Must be able to:

• Assist with evaluation of the accounting policies, procedures and processes for efficiency, effectiveness and adherence to GAAP
• Perform tests of accounting and internal controls to ensure proper financial reporting
• Perform financial close procedures, including preparing and posting journal entries, performing GL reconciliations and documenting control procedures

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel occasionally to locations across the country
• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
• CPA eligibility and presnetly preparing for exam
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience
• Experience with complex accounting consolidations
• Knowledge and understanding of internal controls, current GAAP and financial reporting principles
