A university has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Accounting Specialist in Denver.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing, monitoring, and reconciling budget monitoring workbooks and sponsor-created invoice templates
- Developing and maintaining an activity reporting system
- Independently reconciling grant payroll for temporary, biweekly, and monthly staff
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including SUMIF, mathematical functions, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or four (4) years of experience can be used in place of a Bachelor's degree
- Four or more years of accounting or bookkeeping, two of which are in a grant-funded environment
