A global healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Actuarial Analyst in Eden Prairie.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Querying and processing complex medical and behavioral healthcare data using SAS and SQL based tools
- Use claims and membership data to support utilization, network, and affordability analyses
- Design and validate total cost of care savings models across multiple levels of business
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced level of proficiency working with SAS based tools
- 2+ years of working with SAS or other data analysis tools
- Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries, extracting and efficiently processing data
- 2+ years of healthcare industry experience involving authorization or claims data
- Ability to conduct ad-hoc investigations per client and team requests
