Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Actuarial Consultant.
Must be able to:
- Develop financial forecasts and supporting ad-hoc analytics
- Design and run complex data programs
- Perform quantitative analysis of actuarial, financial, utilization and costs data
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must be on the Actuarial exam track, having passed a minimum of 3 or more Actuarial exams
- 4+ years of experience performing qualitative and/or quantitative analysis
- 2+ years of experience in preparing information for clients
- 2+ years of experience working as an Actuarial Consultant
- 6+ months of experience in SAS (highly preferable) or SQL/R/Python, modeling, data manipulation
- Experience with large healthcare data sets (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, and/or claims)
