Job Summary

A developer-founded and run software development firm is seeking a Telecommute Senior Android Developer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing the full technical life-cycle of Android applications during each development phase
  • Documenting and maintaining design specifications, source code, and archives for new applications and ideas
  • Working with product managers, clients and sales teams to assess customer demand and usability of new applications

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience with Android SDK, Eclipse, Android Studio and/or appropriate equipment and software
  • 5 years of overall software development and/or Android software development experience
  • Experience creating custom UI controls, designing protocols, implementing interfaces, and performance optimization
  • Working knowledge of Web Services and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with Team Foundation Service or Git source code management
