Job Summary

A news and social application creator is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Android Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing new and exciting features and releasing to millions of Android users
  • Writing clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping
  • Working collaboratively with Product Management and Design to develop features

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 4+ years of Android development experience
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android
  • Strong Java engineering skills
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Experience shipping Android applications
