Job Summary

A cloud computing services company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Application Architect.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Working as a technical leader alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams
  • Leading technical and design discussions with IT executives to help enterprises speed their adoption of new technologies and practices
  • Architecting and building highly scalable, cloud-native applications on the internal platform using core developer services like API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB and ECS

Qualifications Include:

  • BS level technical degree or equivalent experience; or 10+ years equivalent professional or military experience
  • 8 + years of large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in two or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Swift, Node.js, Python, Go, or Ruby
  • 5+ years of experience as a technical specialist in customer-facing roles
  • Proven exposure to Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Ability to leverage new technology paradigms (e.g., serverless, containers, microservices)
