Job Summary

An IT company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Application Development Consultant in Phoenix.

Must be able to:

  • Be part of a fast-growing, outstanding Consulting team
  • Participate in practical enablement sessions to be quickly brought up to speed
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy open source software solutions

Required Skills:

  • Willingness to travel for 4 days a week for up to 30-40 weeks a year to customer sites
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a similar field
  • 5+ years of Java development experience
  • Experience with the design, development, testing and deployment of a large, distributed, object-oriented application
  • Experience with agile development environments practicing test-driven development
  • Demonstrated experience communicating value, progress, and metrics of key projects
