Job Summary

A technology company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Application Programming Interface Engineering Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Partnering with Developer Relations team and treating API as a product to help build integrations on top of API
  • Helping drive design and improve our system architecture with focus on performance, reliability, data consistency, scaling
  • Maintaining a strong development culture focused on data-driven and value delivery

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of management experience for building and leading distributed software development teams of 8+ people
  • Experience with implementation of High availability, Disaster Recovery and key metrics driving the SLA for platform and services
  • Hands-on development and architecture experience
  • Ability to recruit top technical talent for the team
  • Background of working for a SaaS, PaaS, IaaS or cloud-based companies
  • Ability to think strategically and execute with a sense of urgency, delivering services to meet customer demands on a timely basis
