Job Summary

A genetic testing and diagnostics company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Application Reliability Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Enhancing application observability by optimizing metrics, logs and traces
  • Performing code fixes for problem resolution and production deployments with minimum supervision
  • Identifying patterns and opportunities to make applications more stable through automations, code changes etc

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Experience with AWS services
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science
  • 7+ years of experience in software development
  • Ability to write complex SQL statements
  • Ability to decompose complex systems and find failure scenarios
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
