Job Summary

An IT consulting services company is in need of a Telecommute Senior Applications Engineer in Chicago.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing advanced, independent design and implementation of Citrix and VMware End User Computing solutions
  • Developing and proposing solutions around VDI, Application Virtualization, Enterprise Mobility Management, and complementary solutions
  • Creating as-built documentation and providing knowledge transfer to customers or internal operations group

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 6 years of experience executing technology strategies, specifically around application management from inception to run state
  • Experience consulting, designing, architecting, implementing, and supporting either Citrix or VMware EUC solutions with 6+ years of industry experience
  • Strong technical background in EUC and mobility solutions
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
