Job Summary

A technology company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Back End Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing distributed services with a focus on availability, performance, security and reliability
  • Identifying performance bottlenecks and using good coding patterns
  • Providing GraphQL/RESTful service implementation

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, etc
  • Must have 5 years of programming experience in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, and/or Groovy
  • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented design and patterns
  • Enjoy working in agile methodology and comfortable with the scrum process
  • Great communication skills
