Job Summary

A distributed cloud database platform is in need of a Telecommute Senior Back End Java Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Participating in and driving general product development for our product
  • Implementing new cutting edge features for our customers along with automated tests
  • Resolving interesting customer issues

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Weekly one on one meetings with the direct manager to discuss personal growth, issues, etc.
  • 5+ years software development experience
  • Java expert
  • Experience w/ web application technologies such as Spring Framework and JAX-RS
  • Experience w/ DataStax Enterprise, Apache Cassandra, and/or Akka would be put to good use
  • All other technical requirements necessary for this position
