Job Summary
A cloud infrastructure company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Backend Cloud Software Engineer in Palo Alto.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with partners, proposing solutions and hands-on coding
- Developing infrastructure to measure performance, monitor for issues, and diagnose problems
- Building and expanding the data access layer of the Velocloud Orchestrator Product
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience developing data storage and data access strategies
- Good Understanding of database caching, read-write splits, replication
- Expertise in relational databases, at least one of MySQL or Postgres, including tuning for performance
- Experience building highly available, scalable cloud applications, including server and database layers
- Expertise in container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
