Job Summary

An information technology and services company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Backend Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Working across the entire tech stack in a cross functional team to build end-to-end features
• Communicating ideas and concepts within your team, across teams, and throughout the organization

Qualifications Include:

• Significant experience designing, building and maintaining REST API’s based on Django and the Django REST Framework
• Experience with PostgreSQL database managed through the Django Object Relational Mapper (ORM)
• At a minimum, familiarity with React front-ends and able to troubleshoot and establish the source of errors
• Experience working closely with product management and to identify options and analyze cost-benefit tradeoffs
• Experience designing and architecting systems to meet high standards of reliability and ease of use
