Job Summary

A staffing agency has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Biostatistician in Seattle.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting the statistical aspects of clinical and pre-clinical research projects
  • Developing study design, sample size estimation and patient randomization
  • Writing statistical analysis plans and interpretating data

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of applied parametric and nonparametric statistics
  • Strong SAS programming skills
  • Ability to translate client needs into statistical practice
  • Ability to educate clients in the use of statistics
  • 2+ years experience conducting statistical analysis of clinical research data
  • Experience using SAS, Oracle Clinical and/or ClinTrial
  • Masters or a Ph.D. degree in statistics, biostatistics or a related field
  • At least 6 years of pharmaceutical or related experience
