Job Summary

A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Business Analyst.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborating with Health Plan operations team to define reporting deliverables and develop solutions
  • Independently developing, analyzing and monitoring new, routine and ad hoc reports using multiple data sources and systems
  • Recommending and implementing new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve business processes

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of healthcare analytics
  • Experience with data analytics and process improvement methodology
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Clinical Analysis, Clinical Operations or a related field
  • Experience with report applications (ie. Business Objects, SQL, etc.)
  • Intermediate/Advanced level proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Advanced level problem solving capabilities needed to identify issues, and to work on solution designs related to process, technology and data
