Job Summary

A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Business Intelligence Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Serving as an analytics thought leader, working with Program leaders and digital product strategists
  • Making decisions on moderately complex to complex issues
  • Exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor's and 5 or more years of experience in data analysis OR Master's and 3 or more years of experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for Hadoop for data query and exploration
  • Experience using Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
  • Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
  • Advanced experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems
