Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Child Protection and Psychosocial Support Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Support quality program design and implementation for child protection programming from public and private funding streams
- Support child protection emergency response teams
- Liaise with key partner agencies and donors
Qualifications Include:
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40-50% of the time
- 5-7 years child protection in emergencies or relevant experience
- Knowledge and understanding of key child protection in emergency issues
- Bachelor's degree in social work, child protection, or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in program design and proposal development for private foundations
- Demonstrated knowledge of development and emergency effects on children's protection
