A health insurance company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Clinical Practice Consultant in Down State.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

Overseeing the integration of care of General Medicine members
Providing expertise to the Behavioral health/substance abuse/SMI programs
Supporting initiatives that enhance quality throughout our network in order to reach quality goals

Position Requirements Include:

MD or DO degree
Active, unrestricted physician state license in New York
Current board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or General Medicine
5+ years of clinical practice experience post residency
Strong understanding of and concurrence with evidence-based medicine, Medicaid and managed care principles
