Job Summary
A health IT company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Cloud Architect in Falls Church.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing technical direction, subject matter expertise, and develop roadmaps for implementation
- Creating conceptual and logical architecture patterns to provide a consistent approach for Cloud based solutions
- Developing Cloud governance and operating standards for a hybrid or multi-Cloud model
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travel: 10%
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years managing a cloud operations team
- 15+ years of architecting and implementing highly visible, scalable, complex infrastructure and cloud projects
- Successful track record of designing at least one of the following project: web properties, back end mobile app design, large systems
- Knowledge of modern architecture trends, excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiations skills
