Job Summary
A technology solutions company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Cloud Architect in Gaithersburg.
Must be able to:
- Oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud environments
- Design Cloud environments with a focus on Azure and AWS
- Delivery of customer Cloud Strategies
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology related field
- 17+ years of relevant experience with increasing responsibilities in enterprise IT architecture and engineering
- Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components
- 4 years of experience as an IT Infrastructure and Cloud Architect, with focus on Azure, cloud, server, storage and networking
- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS based Cloud Architecture and migration
- Practitioner’s experience with AWS Cloud Formation Templates, Connectors, APIs, RDS and Lambda services
