An information technology company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Cloud Database System Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Building new DB servers, monitoring backups, and performing archive restores
- Participating in the planning and executions of cloud migration project milestones
- Overseeing the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field
- 3+ years of production experience supporting cloud database platforms
- 5+ years developing critical platform infrastructure
- Expertise in Oracle and cloud-based Database solutions
- Experience with running databases on the Linux OS
- Experience managing databases at scale (100s of databases)
