Job Summary

A non-profit education organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Cloud Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Building solutions using the best practices of Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps
  • Being a subject matter expert in current technological capabilities
  • Writing code to automate the infrastructure lifecycle, create and support internal tools and be able to use CLIs

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of Cloud Computing, DevOps, and Microservices
  • Strong knowledge of the AWS and experience working with AWS resources
  • Experience in: Building event-driven Cloud-based serverless applications
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good customer working relationships
  • Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required
  • 7+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD framework, immutable infrastructure, automation, orchestration, and other modern DevOps patterns
