Job Summary

A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Cloud Operations Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Define and execute ongoing administration and application performance maintenance, procedures, and operations
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation, as well as project suppory
  • Provide systems expertise for highly integrated ASP and Web platforms

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Two year degree in a Computer Science related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of previous DevOps experience
  • General programming skills for automation of administrative actions
  • Experience administrating Linux and MS Windows servers at scale
  • Experience with scripting languages: (Perl, Bash, Ruby, Python)
  • Familiarity with Java application servers (Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat)
