Job Summary
An insurance agency has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Cloud Security Engineer in Northbrook.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Serve as a thought leader, solution visionary, and technology expert
- Drive Cloud Security Engineering for Enterprise IT and Business IT teams in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS implementations
- Participate in designing / managing IT Security strategy including both infrastructure and applications
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- No planned travel but flexibility required to meet business needs
- 7+ years’ professional experience as a Security Engineer supporting software architecture dev environments
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Chef, and Puppet
- Experience with common scripting languages (Python, Ruby)
- Familiar with DevOps and Agile methodology
