Job Summary
A data analytics company is in need of a Telecommute Senior Competitive Technology Analyst.
Must be able to:
- Perform hands on testing with the primary cloud analytics competitors and alternative technologies
- Document, post and communicate feature/function and performance analysis for competitive offerings
- Provide both low level technical insight, and also be able to use this detailed knowledge and experience to articulate higher level comparative advantages and disadvantages
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Attend vendor and industry conferences to gather information and insight on the relevant, competitive technologies
- Must effectively prepare and deliver the findings of this analysis via verbal (e.g. presentations) and written (e.g. white papers) communications
- BS Degree in Computer Science or related
- 10 years overall technical/hands on experience with contemporary data warehousing and analytics data platforms
- Experience as a customer of these technologies
- Competitive analysis experience of 3 or more years in analytics and data warehousing platforms
