Job Summary

A design and consulting firm has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Dam Engineer Practice Leader in the Southeast Region.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Supervising and scheduling geotechnical and structural engineering staff and providing technical direction and oversight
  • Conducting inspections and engineering assessments
  • Designing installation and assess data for instrumentation at dams, levees, spillways, outlet works, and slopes

Qualifications Include:

  • Current valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, or related field
  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • 20+ years of experience as a demonstrated leader in the water resources field
  • Relevant experience with the current state-of-the-practice for remedial measures for existing dams
  • Relevant geotechnical and/or structural experience working in heavy construction
