An analytics consulting company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Data Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintaining and helping improve Data Engineering's best in class infrastructure
- Participating in ownership of our responsible repositories in github
- Building automation and tooling to help data move fast, we strive for idempotent, reproducible systems and results
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Strong fundamental understanding of Object Oriented Programming
- Strong understanding of Python
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Strong fundamentals in traditional software engineering principles and best practices
- Experience in a dev-ops, data engineering, data operations or site reliability engineering role
- Understanding of cloud-based data warehousing and ELT/ETL techniques and processes
