Job Summary

A global software development firm is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Database Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Producing monthly reports for several customers
  • Performing ad-hoc DBA work
  • Being the Primary DBA contact for several customers

Qualifications Include:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • OpenEdge DBA experience in a production environment, 8 years minimum
  • Unix shell scripting skills
  • Proficient documentation skills
  • Basic analytical and troubleshooting skills specific to software related issues
  • Strong customer service skills
