Job Summary

A non-profit network of travel service providers is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Database Administrator.

Must be able to:

  • Evaluate, architect and pilot new database technologies including Cloud solutions
  • Architect, design, implement database version and platform upgrades
  • Ensure adherence to data standards, interface guidelines, development methodologies, and modeling approaches.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent in Computer Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
  • Good/excellent understanding of Networking fundamentals, devices, and protocols
  • Good/excellent understanding of multi-tier application and DBMS interaction
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify those areas that are unusual or unexpected
