A network security company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Database Reliability Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Embracing best practices for database safety and performance
- Automating every aspect of data store management
- Defining and meeting service level objectives
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 7+ years experience managing production databases
- Deep expertise in one or more of Distributed Database Technologies
- Experience in managing either Elasticsearch or Kafka
- Experience in managing relational database systems
- Strong data modeling and data structure design skills
- Familiarity in dockerizing databases and running them at scale
