Job Summary

An academic publishing company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior DevOps Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Enhancing monitoring tools, building infrastructure and sourcing code management
  • Writing tools for systems and infrastructure automation
  • Providing on-call operations coverage

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of DevOps experience (preferably in a startup environment)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
  • Linux sys admin experience on Amazon Web Services
  • Puppet (or Chef/Ansible/Salt) and Terraform (or Cloudformation) experience
  • Experience with MySQL, Java/Tomcat/Apache, Splunk and open-source tools
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Nexus
