Job Summary
A genetic testing and diagnostics company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior DevOps Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Defining SLOs for critical tools and infrastructure and be responsible for consistently meeting them
- Develop automation and CI/CD processes to build, test, deploy, manage, configure, secure, scale and monitor solutions
- Participating in operations efforts in the geographically distributed team and be the main point of contact for activities in the US
Skills and Requirements Include:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or a similar role
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resourcing
- Practical experience managing applications deployed using Docker in Cloud
- Must have a "get things done", problem-ownership and agile mindset
- Practical experience in Linux/Unix administration
