Job Summary
A software-as-a-service development company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior DevOps Engineer in Austin.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop tooling to enable product development teams
- Partner with other engineers to identify the optimal cloud infrastructure
- Identify, recommend, and implement system improvements to reduce infrastructure costs
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 2+ years experience operating large-scale customer-facing production environments with a focus on uptime and service quality
- Deep proficiency working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Gruntwork)
- Strong knowledge of Configuration Automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)
- Experience with Linux operating systems internals and administration
