Job Summary

A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior DevOps Engineer in Burbank.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with the engineering teams to improve, expand and define the company's builds, deployments and infrastructure
  • Experience with high availability setups using multiple strategies
  • Building infrastructure to detect problems, monitor health and performance of servers

Required Skills:

  • Expert level experience with AWS: CLI, CloudFormation, IAM, EC2 and Route53
  • Senior level experience with Chef, Docker, Consul and Vault
  • Working Knowledge of Node.js, Go, Go Templates, Ruby, Bash, Jenkins, SSL, HaProxy and AWS
  • Familiarity with AWS: ECS, Elastic Cache Cluster, DynamoDB, Kinesis and AutoScaling
  • Familiarity with SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloud Front SSM and Github Workflow
  • Familiary with SignalFX, Splunk and Serverless Framework
  • Experience scaling infrastructure that interacts with third-party services
